Ex St Kilda Footballer to Sell Malvern Home

Thompson retired from AFL football in 2007, after being drafted by the Saints ten years earlier.

His accolades include winning the club’s Best and Fairest in 2000, and also winning a Channel 7 Player of the Year award. Nowadays Thompson works in the finance sector, with BGF Equities. He is also on the St Kilda board.

Bennison Mackinnon Armadale’s Andrew McCann will auction the home at 1:30pm on Saturday April 9.

The home is near the period mansion being offloaded by Mark Butler, the managing director of WA property fund OTAN. That four-bedroom home on Malvern Road, in Glen Iris, is expected to fetch about $1.35 million when Marshall White’s Rae Tomlinson auctions it this weekend at 12:30pm.
