Clarence sheds Brisbane office with high rise permit

The permitted tower for 9 Hercules Street.

Clarence Property has sold an inner-city Brisbane office after obtaining a redevelopment permit for a 27 storey apartment building.

The asset manager banked $17 million for 9 Hercules Street, Hamilton.

It paid $11.98m for the 1870 square metre site, with Brisbane River views, in November, 2017.

The proposal, with 189 dwellings, was approved mid-last year.

Cushman & Wakefield’s Morgan Ruig and Angus Green brokered the on-sale.

More to come.
