City of Glen Eira rents Zagame family office recently vacated by failed developer Steller

EXCLUSIVE

The City of Glen Eira has rented all of the Caulfield East office recently vacated by failed developer, Steller.

The double-storey building at 840 Dandenong Road is owned by the Zagame family, of hospitality fame.

Colliers International launched a leasing campaign in June – about two weeks before Steller was put into receivership.

Steller moved into the 1278 square metre building a couple of years earlier and following a swank renovation.

For years before that, Glenvill Homes occupied 840 Dandenong Road.

Tom Rothel and Damien Adkins found the City of Glen Eira for Zagame Corporation.

The lease includes 19 car spaces.

The office recently underwent a swank renovation prior to Steller moving in.

It is unknown what rent the occupier is paying but the office was asking $320 per square metre, per annum about two years ago – unrenovated.

Glen Eira Town Hall is in Caulfield, at the corner of Glen Eira and Hawthorn roads, less than two kilometres from council’s new premises.
