Catholic Leadership Centre to Start Construction, East Melbourne

This week, the Catholic Education Office, Archdiocese of Melbourne, which controls the site, appointed mid-tier construction contractor APM Group to restore and refurbish the East Melbourne site.

Boutique architect firm Woods Bagot has designed new buildings for the site, which is at an intersection that divides East Melbourne from the less exclusive suburbs of Abbotsford, Collingwood and Richmond.

Directly across from the church site, at 1 Hoddle Street, Richmond, private investors Henkell Brothers in 2008 leased an entire 1300 square metre office to government organisation Australian Community Support Organisation (ACSO). That high profile building was for years occupied by telecommunications group 3 Mobile.
