Avid lists two pieces of Williamstown’s Waterline Place

The Williamstown sites (marked), part of the Waterline Place project.

Avid is selling two parcels from Williamstown’s Waterline Place project, acquired following its takeover of AV Jennings last April.

One site, 2 Aitken Street, spans 949 square metres and is permit-ready for three townhouses.

The second, 16–34 Kanowna St, covers 934 sqm, able to yield townhouses or apartments.

Each is expected to sell for about $3 million.

“Williamstown has a tightly-held, resilient and high performing residential market underpinned by proximity to the CBD, strong transport links and established waterfront amenity,” Cushman & Wakefield’s Hamish Burgess, who is representing Avid with Joe Kairouz, said (continues below).

Each parcel is expected to sell for $3 million.

“There have been a number of successful residential projects delivered in the immediate area which continues to reinforce buyer confidence,” according to the executive.

“This collection really has something for everyone; a permitted site for those looking to launch straight into an approved project and a blank mixed use canvas for buyers who want to design and deliver their own vision,” he added.
