AMF Northcote Bowl Centre Sells For $6.7 Million to Another Residential Developer

Selling agents Shane Dargue and David Grima, from Colliers International, marketed the Northcote site for Far East with CB Richard Ellis’ Mark Wizel and Sebastian Drapac.

Mr Dargue said the new owner plans to move forward with the proposed residential redevelopment. Macquarie acquired the Northcote Bowl site in 2004 as part of a $67.4 million purchase of AMF Bowling Centre’s Australian property portfolio.

Far East meanwhile is pushing ahead with a much more significant $1 billion plus development, Upper West Side, on the site of the former Lonsdale Street power station, and opposite the old Age site, which is also being redeveloped into a high rise apartment compound.
