Ambulance Victoria commits to Tally Ho office

MYOB previously occupied the building,

Ambulance Victoria has rented a 3152 square metre office at Burwood East’s Tally Ho business park – one of suburban Melbourne’s biggest lease deals this year.

The refurbished space, levels two and four of 12 Wesley Court, was occupied by software giant MYOB, which has been progressively relocating to Cremorne, where it will be headquartered from 2020.

It hasn’t been offered for lease since 2001.

Ambulance Victoria at Tally Ho

Ambulance Victoria has signed for an initial six years.

Rent is undisclosed however other A-grade Tally Ho space achieves $280-$320 per sqm, per annum.

The occupier already occupies a dispatch centre at the business park (story continues below).

The Country Fire Authority and ESTA (which manages the 000 service) also lease Tally Ho buildings.

Developed in the 1990s on 26 hectares at the south-west corner of Burwood Highway and Springvale Road, the suburban office park contains 17 offices of varying sizes.

Last September, members of the Myer and Baillieu families sold one of them – a three-storey, 4509 sqm commercial building on 1.7ha at 12 Lakeside Drive – for $25.5m.

China-backed Glorious Sun spent $9.6 million on 16 Lakeside Dve nearly a year ago.

In April, St John’s Ambulance leased 904 sqm at the East Keilor office owner-occupied by Pelligra Group.

At the same time, the service provider committed to a 1420 sqm dispatch centre at 88 Dynon Rd, West Melbourne.
