Gateway secures two tenants to Laverton North

Australian Truck Bodies has leased a 3050 square metre space.

Gateway Capital has secured two leases – all up covering 5700 square metres – for an industrial complex in Melbourne’s Laverton North.

The Laverton North complex contains eight warehouses.

In the biggest deal, Austin Truck Bodies has leased a 3050 sqm space – unit 4, 1-11 Gilbertson Road – of which 148 sqm is offices.

Also with a 465 sqm awning, the warehouse is accessed via three container doors.

The truck body manufacturer is presently at Campbellfield.

Chinese electrical appliance manufacturer Midea meanwhile has leased unit 1, with 2650 sqm, of which 149 sqm is vacant, and a 96 sqm awning.

The warehouse is accessed via five container doors.

Midea will move to 1/1-11 Gilbertson Road.

The complex has full drive around access.

There is also customer parking.

CBRE’s Cameron Giles and Fergus Pragnell with Colliers’ Stephen Ryan and Ned Walmsley were the agents.

Laverton North is about 18 kilometres west of town.
