Sydney Businessman Pays Record $20m for Potts Point Apartment

Developer The Ashington Group is believed to have reaped $20 million for a two-level penthouse with views to Wooloomooloo Bay, Sydney Harbour and the Opera House.

The sale price eclipses the $18.2 million price paid by an as yet undisclosed business identity for a penthouse in Melbourne’s 150 Clarendon Street building, in East Melbourne.

Ashington will demolish a 7-level, 38-unit serviced apartment block to develop the six storey glazed apartment tower in Wylde Street.
