Pratt Family Offload Prominent Hawthorn Development Site

Thorney planned to start building the new project at 138 Barkers Road last year.

The site is opposite Xavier College’s Jackson Oval, and was known until 1957 known as the Barkly train station. A train line used to run between Hawthorn Grove and Chrystobel Crescent, also incorporating land that now forms the Denmark Street, Kew offices of government agency VicRoads.
