Powercor to sell in Brooklyn

Powercor is selling a former State Electricity Commission facility in Brooklyn, 10 kilometres west of Melbourne.

The 20 hectare block at the north-west corner of Geelong and McDonald roads is expected to sell for about $20 million as an investment with development upside.

Offered for the first time in 54 years, the Industrial 1 zoned land once formed part of a larger block connected to nearby Bunting Road.

In recent years, 594 – 598 Geelong Rd has been occupied by auction house Jupps Motor Group.

Colliers International’s Nathan Bingham and Stephen Newsham are representing Powercor.
