Pace Developments Pays $7.5 Million For St Kilda Junction Development Site

The property is on the south-east corner of Wellington Street, where Pace is proposing a six-level apartment complex with more than 100 flats at another site.

In recent years Pace has developed low rise housing but in recent years has pushed planning boundaries.

In Abbotsford, the builder is proposing a 17-level tower (which would be the tallest for the area outside of commission flat towers), while in Mentone, 21 kilometres from town, Pace wants to rebuild a former ten-pin-bowling facility with a residential village including two skyscrapers rising eight and 12 levels.
