Mining Heirs to Sell Perth Development Site Owned by Family For 65 Years

The family has owned the site since 1945. It’s expected to sell for about $6 million and make way for a residential or office skyscraper.

The Northbridge Link development across the road will see the railway line sunk, with new towers (office and residential) to be built upon a new floor.

The Wright siblings are property investors. Ms Bennett owns AMB Holdings which injected $30 million into 360 Capital Property Group last month. 360 will use this cash to expand.

Last year, Ms Bennett paid institutional giant $41.5 million for a Sydney CBD office at 333 Kent Street.

Ms Bennett made headlines in late 2009 when her Mosman Park mansion (pictures, above) sold to Mineral Resources co-founder Chris Ellison for $57.5 million – still an Australian house price record.

Mr Wright owns the Voyager Estate winery and both commercial and residential property.

Colliers International associate director, metropolitan, Nicholas Agapitos is the marketing agent.
