Migrant Workers Could Help Queensland Mining Projects

A Skills Australia report foreshadowed Australia would need an additional 2.4 million skilled workers in the four year period covered by the budget. The government plans to encourage workers to move from areas of high unemployment, like Cairns, to mining towers which will promote “fly in fly out” operations.
