Manningham City Council Sells Prominent Doncaster Site For $8.92 Million

In the immediate area, China-based developers recently paid $16.25 million for an 8395 square metre site at 602 – 630 Doncaster Road, set to become a compound of shops, offices and apartments. Until recently that site was owned by members of the Myer family.

Mirvac is also planning to build a $1 billion-plus mixed-use village on the outgoing Eastern Golf Course site, which it bought from the Club for $100 million in February.

The sale rate of $2865 per square metre of land is a record for Doncaster according to Savills directors Nick Peden and Joel Ward who marketed 101 – 105 Tram Road for the council.
