About a year ago, Hobsons Bay council rejected calls to include Ms Gillard’s Altona home on the heritage protection list, alongside other landmarks including the MCG and Flinders Street Station.
Ms Gillard has previously said a waterfront mansion on Altona’s Esplanade is her dream home.
Scott Murdoch from First National Real Estate Barwon McEwan Tribe in Altona, is marketing the Delmont Avenue home.
