The quaint cottage is very homely – featuring five bedrooms, three bathrooms, a fireplace and a pool – and is expected to sell for around $700,000. That’s a lot of coffees at Lassiter’s.
Familiar television landmarks wouldn’t end at Ramsay Street for the lucky buyer. Up the road is the Cell Block H building at Channel Ten’s former Nunawading studio on Springvale Road. For the television show Prisoner, prison bars were added to the office building that once accommodated the network’s staff.
Global Television Studios now own the 10 acre site, and continue to provide production services to shows such as Rove Live. It continues to be the production home for Neighbours, Australia’s most successful television show.
