Former VECCHI Building, Abutting Hawthorn Train Station, to Reap $17 Million

 
Sources say Vecchi sold the building to engineering group Golder Associates more than six years ago for about $12 million, but this could not be confirmed. Earlier this year Golder Associates announced it would relocate to offices at the Botanicca Business Park in Richmond.
 
Last month, Collingwood -based developer Caydon paid Mirvac more than $12 million for a development site at 291 – 311 Burwood Road, Hawthorn, which despite being sold with a permit for an office building, is expected to be redeveloped into apartments.
