Almost abutting this property, the former Preshill School oval site at 462 – 466 Barkers Road has recently been subdivided into six smaller residential blocks of between 550 and 720 square metres, accessed via a new street, Daniel Court.
Almost next door to the former Preshill School oval, at 482 Barkers Road, is the Strathroy mansion which reportedly sold for about $10 million in April to Asia-based purchasers, setting a new price record for the suburb.
Strathroy was previously owned by Autobahn director Garry Dumbrell.
The Harcourt precinct is considered Hawthorn East’s most exclusive pocket, being at the suburb border of Hawthorn and Kew.
