Encore auction: Tina Arena offers Fitzroy terrace for second time in six weeks

For the second time in as many months, entertainer Tina Arena is offering her Fitzroy terrace for auction.

The double-storey, three storey home at 101 Kerr Street, near the Brunswick Street intersection, is being quoted this time around with a price guide of between $1.5 million to $1.6 million ahead of an auction on October 21.

The home passed in on a single bid of $1.75 million when it was last auctioned on September 9. During that campaign, the price guide was between $1.7 million and $1.8 million.

For the past six weeks, the part-bluestone house has been for private sale asking $1.795 million.

Jellis Craig’s Rob Elsom and John Morello are marketing the relaunched campaign for Ms Arena, who paid $1.38 million for 101 Kerr Street in 2015, following her return to Melbourne after two decades in Europe.

The 2015 ARIA Hall of Fame inductee reportedly undertook some minor renovations prior to listing it for sale in August. The dwelling is believed to be more than 120 years old, according to a Better Homes and Gardens segment once aired about it.

Earlier this year it was announced the singer, who turns 50 next month, will return to the stage in Evita playing the central character, Eva Peron.
