Denistoun Park and Windsong Estates for sale on the Mornington Peninsula
The marketing executive who made undergarment clothing manufacturer Davenport a household name is selling his family retreat in Red Hill South, as he prepares to move to a new family compound under construction in Shoreham.
Clyde Davenport is selling his Windsong estate, which he bought about fifteen years ago. The home overlooks Western Port Bay and includes horse stables, a ménage, orchard, vegetable garden and luxury 3-level home.
Paton Estate Agents director Blane Paton is expecting more than $3 million for Windsong, when it goes to auction later this month.
Mr Paton is also selling the famous Denistoun Park racing track facility in nearby Tuerong for $6 million.
Denistoun Park has been owned by several wealthy business identities over the years, but is currently used as an investment. It’s leased to horse trainers the Freedman Brothers for another two years.
Denistoun Park includes a 42 large “walk-in, walk-out” stable complex, and a 1650 metre irrigated grass track, with a 400 metre uphill straight finish. Inside the grass track is a 1600 metre sand track. Horses also have use of a 65 metre straight swimming pool.
