Circus Oz to Quit Port Melbourne For Collingwood in Spring, 2014

Circus Oz famously moved to its Port Melbourne headquarters 17 years ago after windows randomly exploded at its former home, The Australian Ballet School, which it later was discovered was sinking.

Before finding the larger Collingwood site Circus oz had considered extending the Port Melbourne property.

In 2010, redundant ALP planning minister Justin Madden reportedly supported a developer’s hugely contentious plan to build a 26-level apartment tower on Waterfront Place, opposite Station and Princes Pier.

Sources have told The Age Capital Gain column an even bigger proposal affecting this site may revealed soon.
