THE Brunswick terrace that was a finalist for the 2009 Australian Institute of Architects Victorian Awards sold last week for $730,000.

Perforated House, in Wilson Street, was developed by Kavellaris Urban Design last year on a vacant block at the end of a row of 15 adjoining terraces, in the inner-northern suburb.

The unique double-storey two-bedroom home includes a perforated, anodised-aluminium face to the street, imprinted with the period features of a terrace house, to match its neighbours.

Thomson real estate’s Lisa Lowes marketed the home which failed to sell at a scheduled auction last month.
