Becton lists 422 Little Collins St

Becton is selling the 422 Little Collins Street office it picked up Vicland four years ago.

The developer and fund manager paid $22.2m in September, 2006.

It can expect $17.5m this time around – a 10 per cent market yield.

Allard & Shelton’s Joseph Walton and Patrick Barnes are the agents (story continues below).

Earlier this month Becton offloaded the Beaumaris Pavilion site to St Kilda footballer Sam Gilbert and hotelier Simon Lennox for a speculated $9m; it acquired that property with plans for aged care investment on a vacant tract.

The builder also recently sold its East Melbourne headquarters for c$27m, 466 Collins St ($21m) and 606 St Kilda Road (c$25m).

It collected another $30m during the economic downturn from riverside Abbotsford offices.
