ANZ sells 20 Martin Place for $95m

ANZ has sold 20 Martin Place in Sydney to Boston based property advisory Pembroke Real Estate, which is acting on behalf of an affiliate.

The 21-level office building is the first Australian property purchase for the group

The bank will in 2013 relocate to a new Grocon development at 242 Pitt Street.

As part of the Martin Pl sale agreement, ANZ will lease banking chambers within a proposed Martin Place refurbishment (story continues below).

Pembroke is reported to be paying about $95 million for the asset.

Developed in 1970 it contains 15,542 sqm of office and retail space.
