A property many said may never be sold is expected to sell for more than $3.25 million at auction today.
The Swiss Government is selling Clyne mansion, the home of several years for its consul Peter Casaulta, at 7 Stonehaven Court, Toorak. The government recently centralised in Sydney.
The two-storey Tudor house has five bedrooms, study, cellar and three living areas overlooking a paved courtyard.
The house is set on more than 1200 square metres of gardens.Guests lucky enough to make it to the backyard might see Coonac mansion over the back fence. Coonac set the record as Melbourne's most expensive home when it sold for $16 million in late 2002.
Clyne is being sold at noon today. Kay & Burton sales executive Clive Nettlefold is handling the campaign.
