A piece of Australian television history sold at auction last week.
The Retreat Hotel in Abbotsford, which was the stage for the living room and other scenes in the popular 1980s television drama, The Sullivans, sold for $1.6 million at auction.
The 19th century English style pub includes many features, which network ten executives thought painted a fair picture of suburban Melbourne in the 1930s.
