Colliers International and Dixon Kestles won two of the highest accolades for a commercial agency at this year’s Real Estate Institute of Victoria Excellence Awards, held at Crown Casino on Thursday October 18.

Colliers International managing director John Marasco picked up the Agency of the Year award for the second year in a row, while Dixon Kestles director John Pratt picked up the Gold Award for the Best Commercial Property Marketing Campaign of the year. It leased The Kiosk at Half Moon Bay at Black Rock, on behalf of the Bayside Council.

The campaign, which was carried out on a budget of less than $15,000, attracted nine Expressions of Interest.

Other agencies to pick up REIV awards at a separate function last month include GormanKelly and Colliers International for their role leasing Melbourne’s largest speculative suburban office building, Vantage in Hawthorn; Gross Waddell for its sale of the Beaumaris Hotel to Becton; and CBRE for selling the Melbourne International Air Freight Centre at Tullamarine.
