Paintings conservator Jacqueline Macnaughtan is selling her "sea captain's cottage" and sailing out of South Melbourne.
The three-bedroom house at 18 Little Mountain Street has a living room with fireplace, kitchen opening to dining/sunroom and a rear courtyard.
Little Mountain Street is at the southern tip of South Melbourne bordered by Port Melbourne to the left and Albert Park to the right.
Chisholm & Gamon sales manager Christine Nicholson says the property is a great way to enter the Albert Park lifestyle without the price tag. The house is a short walk to St Vincent Gardens, Albert Park Lake and the beach.
It is expected to sell for more than $550,000 when it goes to auction at noon on Saturday, April 28.
