Prestigious eastern suburb college Mount Scopus is on the verge of selling a Caulfield North mansion and development site it had intended to use as a new school campus. Teska Carson selling agent Michael Ludski, who is marketing the property with Gross Waddell’s Michael Gross, says a decision is days away.

Both agents were tight lipped about the sale when approached by Secret Agent, but had earlier indicated they expected the properties to fetch around $10 million – a nifty profit on the estimated $6 million Mount Scopus paid for the property late last year.

The site includes the former Tudor Court reception centre, which has since been demolished and is expected to make way for apartments, and a federation 4-bedroom home which is expected will be refurbished and sold.
