Ahead of a move to St Kilda Road’s luxurious Lucient building, development giant Lustig-Moar director Iris Lustig-Moar, is selling her penthouse apartment in the iconic Skipping Girl Vinegar Factory in Abbotsford, on the Richmond border.
The apartment is the last of three in the complex, owned by Iris. Spreading over two levels, it includes 380 square metres of living space, with five bedrooms, and a further four outdoor terraces, with views of the Yarra River and CBD.
Skipping Girl, at 655 Victoria Street, was one of Melbourne’s first inner-city warehouse conversions, and prompted protests and planning disputes when it was proposed in the 1990s.
Kay & Burton selling agent Jason Scillio and Sam Wilkinson are marketing the property and quoting around $2.5 million. The apartment goes to auction at midday on Saturday September 20.
Ms Lustig-Moar’s late father Ted, and ex husband Max Moar, established development company Lustig-Moar in 1971.
