One of the Dandenong Ranges most imposing homes was put to the market this week.

Mount Royal Manor, a 143 square mansion set on two hectares of manicured gardens at 1317 Burwood Highway, Upper Ferntree Gully, is expected to sell for around $6 million after an international marketing campaign.

The home includes 6-bedrooms with ensuites, its own wine bar as well as formal and informal living areas, pool, spa, jacuzzi, tennis court, croquet court and a 12-car garage. Separate housing is provided for any full-time caretakers and gardeners.

A rooftop terrace offers views of metropolitan Melbourne and the CBD on one side, and the Dandenong Ranges on the other.

The property is currently used as the family home of an undisclosed business identity.

Ken Jacobs, of Ken Jacobs Exclusive Affiliate of Christie’s Great Estates Edgecliffe, Sydney, says he expects the property to arouse local and international interest.

Pic suggestion: Several pics of the ridiculously oversized property coming in separate Email.
