GVA Worldwide Re-Opens in Australia

A year after selling its GVA SwaleHynes business to CBRE, global real estate services company GVA Worldwide has reentered the Australian property market - but in a very different economic environment.

GVA Worldwide, as it will be branded in Australia, will maintain its focus on acting independently for tenants and owner-occupiers in looking for new space. Traditional agencies normally act for the owner of the property.

GVA Worldwide will merge with strategy and planning group Project Control Group, which have placed tenants such as Radisson Hotel, Lion Nathan and Toyota.

CBRE and rival Colliers International acquired consultancy businesses last September, at a particularly frenzied time in the commercial property markets.
