Salta Properties has been delivered some good news at last, with residential developer Carlisle Homes leasing 2000 square metres of space at its troubled Nexus Corporate Park in Mulgrave.
It’s the third leasing deal at the building since it opened in late 2005. Earlier this year Workcover moved into around 1200 square metres, joining CB Richard Ellis which occupies around 530 square metres as its suburban office headquarters.
“Its proximity close to the freeway provides quick access to the city and the outer suburbs, and with the completion of Eastlink, will further improve this and provide an excellent location for a headquarters,” Carlisle Homes director Dean Morrison told Capital Gain.
Carlisle Homes will relocate from a lower quality office building in Mulgrave.
Unlike most other suburban office hubs, tenants looking for office space in the Monash precinct recently have been spoilt for choice. Analysts say demand for space did not match the amount of new supply which came in a rush in 2005 and 2006 and that this has kept rents stable.
