The former Kraft Foods factory in Broadmeadows has been subdivided into a $25 million industrial estate and is about to be sold, more than two years after the company announced it was moving its biscuit factory to China.

The 10-hectare site will be known as the Broadlink Industrial Estate. It includes 25 industrial blocks of land clustered around a new street, Kraft Court, off Blair Street.

The huge Kraft factory remains, but has been renovated and divided into five parcels, only one of which is still available for sale.

The factory was snapped up by a development consortium headed by prestige residential real estate agent Gerald Delany for about $15 million last year.

Mr Delany has moved one of his other businesses, The Fresh Cheese Company, to Broadmeadows, after it outgrew premises in Brunswick.

Tom Davis Industrial Property Consultant director Tom Davis is marketing the Broadlink industrial lots.

He is working with Killen Thomas Industrial Commercial to sell the remaining warehouse.
