Brace yourself Cheltenham, bad boy footballer Brendan Fevola is bringing his family to town.

Fevola and his model wife, Alex, are understood to be talking with designers about plans for a new double-story mansion, to replace an unrenovated 1980s brown brick home they bought last year in Weatherall Road.

Alex outmuscled a throng of other bidders to snare the site at auction last August for $681,000, in a campaign run by Buxton Mentone’s Sandra Costello. Any new property would have expansive views over the Royal Melbourne Golf Course towards Port Phillip Bay.

It would also look over Beaumaris township, where the couple live with their 20-month daughter Leni Jay, and an older daughter of Alex from a previous relationship.

Fevola made headlines before the footy season even started this week, when he was caught on camera urinating on the front window of Prahran’s trendy Candy Bar – the favourite hangout for global glamour queen Paris Hilton.

In late 2006, Brendan and Alex temporarily split, following the discovery of a saucy voicemail message between the Carlton full forward and 19-year old model Lara Bingle who it was revealed he maintained a five week affair with.

Brendan & Alex are reported to have rebuilt however, and in May last year, went into partnership with other associates to open Fellini restaurant in Toorak Road South Yarra.
