The artist behind the recent Golden City exhibition is selling his home in the city and going bush. Salvatore Trigila, known for his detailed drawings of significant Melbourne buildings, and wife Valerie Wilson are moving permanently to their Bankart Gallery in Lancefield, about 100 kilometres north of Melbourne.
They are selling a four-bedroom house at 58 Hodgson Street, Heidelberg, just 10 kilometres from town, which offers three living areas, a large modern kitchen and picture-postcard views over Yarra parklands to the Dandenongs.
The property is being marketed directly via Ms Wilson, who is asking more than $780,000.
Trigila's show Golden City was launched by Lord Mayor John So earlier this year.
