DEVELOPER Burbank Homes has lodged an application to redevelop the Denton Hat Mill factory, in Abbotsford. Sources say the 113-year-old heritage-protected factory will be converted into 20 townhouses, 38 apartments and nine retail shops.
Building is expected to start this year. Burbank reportedly paid about $5 million for the property more than three years ago. The factory was designed by architect William Pitt, who also designed the Regent Theatre, in the CBD.
