Lend Lease Corporation Limited (“Lend Lease”) today announced that Chief Operating Officer, Ross Taylor, will step down from his role and will be leaving the corporation later this year. He will resign from the Board as an Executive Director effective immediately. The Board has also decided that the role of Chief Operating Officer will not be filled pending resolution of the current CEO search process which was announced to the market on 21 August 2008.

Lend Lease Chairman, David Crawford, said the Board and Ross Taylor had mutually agreed that Mr Taylor would no longer be a candidate for the CEO role.

“While the Board and Ross agree on the overall positioning and strategic direction of the Company, following detailed discussions, there are subtle differences between us around some aspects of emphasis and execution.

“As a result, Ross has agreed to step down but will remain with the Company to assist with a smooth transition of his responsibilities prior to pursuing other corporate opportunities. Ross has had a long and distinguished career with Lend Lease. The Board thanks him for his significant contribution to the Company and wishes Ross every success in his future endeavours,” Mr Crawford said.

Prior to becoming Chief Operating Officer in 2007, Mr Taylor served in a number of international business leadership roles for the Company including Head of Asia Pacific region; Global Head of Construction and Global Head of the Retail & Communities development operations.
